Amadeus for Women's Day

On the first Sunday of March prior to Women's Day, the Amadeus Orchestra will serve a true musical feast.

Audience members will get to hear and see two outstanding soloists sharing a stage. The Amadeus Chamber Orchestra of the Polish Radio conducted by Anna Duczmal-Mróz will appear next to the renowned and respected bass-baritone opera singer, winner of many prestigious vocal competitions, Jarosław Bręk performing 4 Love Sonnets for Baritone and Symphony Orchestra by Tadeusz Baird. In Part 2 of the concert, the outstanding pianist and laureate of the International Frederic Chopin Piano Competition Paweł Wakarecy will play Grażyna Bacewicz's Piano Quintet No. 1.

The full programme of the evening comprises Ottorino Respighi's Ancient Arias and Dances Suite No. 3, Tadeusz Baird's 4 Love Sonnets for Baritone and Symphony Orchestra and Grażyna Bacewicz's Piano Quintet No. 1.
