A musical feast!

As it does every summer, the time has come to enjoy the Letnie Brzmienia (Summer Sounds) event held in Stary Browar (Old Brewery) Park and its outdoor concerts by Poland's top artists of recent years. The upcoming July line-up features Tymek, Brodka, Natalia Przybysz, Mery Spolsky and Sanah. And this is not all - the list of stars scheduled to appear in Poznań this year goes on and on.

The performances by top artists of the Polish music scene during the Letnie Brzmienia tour have become a fixture in the city's summer programme ever since the Good Taste Production concert agency sought to make up for massive concert cancellations due to covid two years ago. The amazing July line-up will allow the audiences to savour their favourite music almost every weekend. As it turns out, you don't have to leave the city for a good time in open air. Not a bad prospect, is it?

While Letnie Brzmienia announced they would kick off this year's event on the last Friday of June, the vast majority of the concerts will not take place until July and August. Make sure to keep the first three Fridays of July open for Tymek (July 1), Brodka (July 8) and Natalia Przybysz (July 15). Tymek (whose full name is Tymoteusz Bucki) is not only a performer but also a lyric writer, music producer and composer. Many of his albums have achieved platinum and diamond status. Monika Brodka will appear in another of her many musical incarnations. Natalia Przybysz of the Przybysz sisters (Sistars) will present her brand-new repertoire of Zaczynam sie od miłości (Love is Where I Begin) featuring previously unreleased lyrics by Kora Jackowska. After a week-long break, on 29 July, the bold and uncompromising Mery Spolsky known for her highly original musical style will perform for the Poznań crowd. On the following day (30.07), don't miss Sanah, a musical discovery of recent years who stands out with her unique vocals and delivers an amazing blend of indie and art pop. Her latest release this year, Feast (featuring guest appearances by Artur Rojek, Dawid Podsiadło, Kwiat Jabłoni and other artists), has taken the world by storm. The event is sure to bring major hits for the fans of both electronic music and sophisticated ballads.

The July concerts are only an appetite-whetter. Fortunately, more in being served up to satisfy their hunger. That includes Kortez, Zalewski, Nosowska, Artur Rojek, Ania Dąbrowska, Karaś/Rogucki, Kuba Badachi and Mrozu in August, and Kwiat Jabłonii and IGO in September. What a musical feast! All concerts are scheduled to begin at the same time: 8pm.

The event's grand finale will take place in September in Polana Harcerza on the grounds of Poznań's Malta. This two-day music festival will be a culmination of a nationwide concert tour covering as many as 13 Polish cities during the summer holidays. The line-up includes Arek Kłusowski and Ofelia (Saturday, 10 September) as well as Ralph Kaminski and bryska (Sunday, 11 September). Be sure to mark your calendar today!
