Description
The Museum is located in the Poznań Citadel, on the grounds of the former Winiary Fort, which survived until the 1960s. This military museum features both indoor and outdoor displays. The indoor section, housed in a former bomb shelter, portrays the history of the Poznań fighting of 1945, and particularly various types of Soviet and German armaments. The outdoor exhibition of military equipment invariably appeals to visitors.
It features military vehicles, airplanes, helicopters and a variety of cannons and mortars.
